photog: I’ve had a passion for photography that has lasted for over 40 years. I built my first darkroom at age 14 in 1974 and graduated in journalism from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) located in Calgary in 1983. I continued my photographic studies at the Western Academy of Photography in Victoria BC in 1986-87. During the next decade while working in the photo retail industry I continued to build my photo archive of images. During this time my passion for nature and landscape photography increased while growing my archive. I’ve combined my love for technology and photography since the digital photography revolution started. Currently, I’m shooting stock for Alamy. I have an archive of over 2000 images hosted on this website. I specialize in landscape and nature imagery of Canada.
